Check for the intakes and deadlines
- Fall semester starts in the month of September, and the application for this intake may start anywhere between January and April.
- The Winter semester starts in the month of January, and the application for this intake starts anywhere between June and September . In case you miss your fall semester, winter intake is the next best choice.
- The Summer semester starts in the month of April or May, and the application for this intake starts in June and goes up to September. Summer intakes are very limited and are available only for some programs.

Application Documents
- Application form: You need to fill all the required details- personal, educational and desired course details
- Degree certificate: It is a certificate that proves you have completed the necessary bachelor's degree required to pursue a master’s program
- Resume: A resume contains an aspirant’s necessary information such as educational qualification, work experience, achievements, and more. It should be presented in a specific format.
- Proof of Finance: You need to provide evidence to suggest that you can support yourself financially during your education in Canada.
- SOP: The Statement of Purpose states the candidate’s reasons for applying to a master's program in Canada, his objective in life and the reason for applying to the university. The word limit is about 500 words for each SOP. It is required by universities in Canada to apply for Masters Program.
- LOR: The Letter of Recommendation is an assessment of your potential by a third person, generally a professor or a former employer. The university may ask you to submit at least three LOR’s (two professional and one academic).
- Academic Transcript: Academic transcripts is documentation of all your educational records of your grades in your courses.
- Health insurance: The cost and amount covered varies depending on the Canadian province you will live in. Apply at the earliest (after receiving the acceptance letter) to make sure you have all the necessary documents needed to enter the country.
Acceptance letter
- After you have submitted your college application to a Designated Learning Institute, you might receive an acceptance letter from the university, if they find your profile outstanding.
- You generally receive an official letter of acceptance from the university within one or two months after the application deadline.
- You cannot apply for a study permit without an acceptance letter.
Study Permit / Visa
- In order to apply for a visa or a study permit , you will need to submit all the necessary documents, passport and your college acceptance letter.
- You can apply for the visa online or through a visa application centre of a Canadian Embassy located in your country.
- Your application will be submitted after you pay processing fees along with third-party fees such as medical exams, language test etc. (if required).
